Top order bat | Wicket keeper

Mikayla began her cricket career through the Queensland Pathways as captain of the U15 squad. She then went on to represent the Cricket Australia XI U16 team in the U18 Nationals in January 2020.

Mikayla joined the Sunshine Coast Scorchers in the 2018-19 season and played in the First Grade One Day Premiership team in 2020-21 and 2022-23, as well as the First Grade T20 Premiership in 2021-22. Mikayla was awarded the Kath Smith Medal in 2022-23 as QLD Premier Cricket Female Player of the Year.

Mikayla captained the QLD Women’s Country Team in the 2023 National Championships and was selected in the Australian Team of the Tournament. She was awarded the Mary Skau award for the 2022-23 season as QLD Country Cricket Female Player of the Year.
