Tara Wheeler

Tara Wheeler is an emerging opening batter and leg spin bowler for Queensland. She has represented Queensland in U15 and 18s squads and was the leading wicket taker in the 2016 U18s Championships. Tara is currently playing First Grade for Gold Coast Dolphins in Queensland Premier Grade Cricket.

Tara has played over 200 games in Women’s first grade cricket teams. She was awarded the Kath Smith Medal for her performance in the 2021/22 season and was named leading run scorer for the same season. In 2022 Tara made her WNCL debut for Queensland Fire.
